How Do You Know When You are Healing?

  • When you have the self control to respond rather than just react.

  • When you enjoy spending time alone.

  • When you can see parents, family members, and others as people with their own issues and unresolved traumas.

  • When you are able to set boundaries out of love and respect for yourself.

  • When being misunderstood by someone, doesn’t create the need for you to explain yourself at length, trying to convince them. You are confident in who you are.

  • When you feel lighter, brighter, more peaceful and calm.
